Withdrawal Instructions & Refund Policy

For consumers (B2C)

This is a non-binding English translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy or ambiguity, the German version of this document shall prevail and is solely legally binding.

1. Payment & refunds (app store or Paddle)

The seller and Merchant of Record for your purchase is — depending on the purchase channel — the respective app-store operator (Apple or Microsoft) or, for a purchase via our website, Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd.). Refunds are therefore processed via the respective Merchant of Record; a direct refund by us is not possible.

If you purchased via an app store, you submit refund requests to that store: for Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, for Microsoft via your Microsoft account (order history). If you purchased via our website, you submit the request via the link in your Paddle purchase confirmation or at paddle.net. In either case you may also contact us at info@teaser-factory.de — we will forward your request to the responsible Merchant of Record.

2. Statutory right of withdrawal (consumers)

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day of conclusion of the contract. To exercise your right of withdrawal you must inform us (Teaser-Factory UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G., Fehrbelliner Straße 57, 10119 Berlin, Deutschland, info@teaser-factory.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. an email) of your decision; we will notify the Merchant of Record for reversal of the transaction. You may also declare your withdrawal directly via the withdrawal function in our withdrawal center (§ 356a BGB). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the period expires.

3. Early lapse of the right of withdrawal

For a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, your right of withdrawal lapses once we have begun performance after you have (a) expressly consented to us beginning performance before the end of the withdrawal period, (b) confirmed your knowledge that, by consenting, you lose your right of withdrawal upon the start of performance, and (c) we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract pursuant to § 312f BGB on a durable medium documenting your consent and acknowledgement (§ 356 (5) BGB). We obtain this consent and confirmation expressly during checkout before the purchase; you receive the contract confirmation by email.

4. Consequences of withdrawal

If you effectively withdraw from this contract, we or Paddle will refund all payments received without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receipt of your notice of withdrawal. If you requested that a service should begin during the withdrawal period, you owe a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the service already provided up to withdrawal compared with the total scope of the service agreed (§ 357 BGB).

6. Voluntary refunds beyond the right of withdrawal

Beyond the statutory right of withdrawal, there is no claim to a refund, in particular not after activation of the license or after the right of withdrawal has effectively lapsed. Billing periods already begun are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. Paddle may grant refunds at its own discretion (typically within 14 days of purchase); your statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Cancellation instead of refund

You can cancel your subscription at any time so that no further payments are incurred — simply via the "Cancel contracts here" button on our cancellation page. You retain access until the end of the period already paid for.

8. Free 7-day trial

The free trial tier runs for seven days, requires no payment details and ends automatically — no payment obligation arises, there is nothing to refund and there is no automatic conversion into a paid subscription. Your statutory right of withdrawal under section 2 remains unaffected.
